Sackboy is an honest platformer, with an easy level of difficulty, but which makes up for it with a good-natured atmosphere and a thundering soundtrack, which for me is THE highlight of the title. Enjoyable to play, it takes on its full meaning in local co-op but doesn’t reinvent the wheel.
Sackboy returns for his greatest adventure on PlayStation 5, as this time we’re offering more of a 2D-3D platformer. Read our full review of the game.

Deathloop impressed players with its clever use of the concept of a time loop! Read our full review.
Deathloop brings an entire universe where we recognize Arkane’s unique graphical touch. The principle of the game is quite unique, and even when we return to the levels and it’s a bit repetitive at times, especially if you’ve played them for a good portion of hours, the scenario progresses and unlocks new branches that arise immediately forget this feeling. The scenario is quite original, especially given that the amnesiac hero has to reconstruct his past, the result being a fairly solid game with environments that remain varied.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brings many changes and takes a more mature direction. From the violence of the battles to the interest of the story that follows this logic, we see a great evolution. The game forces you to explore, and the many side missions have to be picked up around the map. In short, it no longer takes you as much in your hands, but lets you free while still offering tremendous content.

Far Cry for $39.95
In this part of the Far Cry series we have to free a nation from a dictator in a Latin American country. Read our full review.

It’s huge, it’s beautiful, techy, full of missions, so it certainly won’t surprise you like a Far Cry 3, but the story is good, the characters colorful, the universe pleasant. It stays on familiar territory for regulars, and newcomers don’t get lost. It’s a good game, even a very good game that will take you several dozen hours, that offers what is expected of it and that is additionally enriched with new online missions and allows you to play in co-op.

Pure fun, that’s what Republic Riders can sum up. (…) Republic Riders is far from perfect and some things could have been done with a little more attention, but it’s still an enjoyable and highly entertaining game. Literally.

As such, I highly recommend this game if you’re a fan of the franchise. I think it’s worth checking out. If you hate Star Wars it might be better to skip it as the humor and references are really what make this game so charming, but for someone like me who falls between the two I think it’s a very enjoyable rediscovery of this one Series is and sometimes ridiculous ways that are well worth the price given the amount of content to explore.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy under $30
An excellent action game that will keep you laughing thanks to the quality of the dialogues and the actors who voice the Guardians of the Galaxy, including the Quebecois Romane Denis. Read our full review.
Eidos Montreal went on a tour de force with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes, it’s a decidedly linear adventure, although sometimes we can make choices and create minor forks, but with an epic and touching story, masterful performances that almost make us forget the cinematic version and a simple, intuitive and satisfying gameplay that are we like to get carried away and marvel at what the game has to offer us. With that in mind, Eidos Montreal offers us adventures in the purest Marvel tradition.

A brand new storytelling and horror game to explore! Read our full review.
In its games, Supermassive Games allows players to enjoy the adventure alone but also with friends in co-op. On the same sofa, up to eight players can borrow each other’s joysticks to each control a character from the game. I think this is a brilliant idea because we want our friends to discover this type of game. It’s a very juvenile and young adult story, and it’s a lot of things I would have done at that age.

So as we sat down for the new game, we asked ourselves: Why is the world so different? We thought it would be world peace, but we had no idea about these inequalities that are so problematic today. This game is about happiness and the fact that people today crave happiness. People expect to be happy, but people are contradictory and one person’s happiness is another person’s unhappiness.
-Charles Cecil
